Are Bigfoot, fairies, and UFOs connected? One of the major threads linking the three is strange lights. In the folklore of Celtic countries, they call these glowing phenomena fairy lights.
In the early 20th Century, Dr. W.Y. Evans-Wentz wrote an exhaustive account of fairy lore, including interviews he conducted with people who reported firsthand encounters with the little folk. Evans-Wentz’s book, The Fairy Faith in Celtic Countries, describes those encounters in detail. A number of them involve fairy lights. In once encounter, a man looked out the window of his home to see a fairy woman prancing about in his field. The woman, dressed in white, carried some kind of light that she swung to and fro. This incident echoes a 1973 sighting in Pennsylvania, where two girls saw a Bigfoot carrying a glowing orb.
Hairy creatures were reported to accompany some fairies, especially in Brittany (France). One common thread can equal coincidence. Many common threads become a tapestry larger than any coincidence.
